The White Hart is a privately owned family-run free house pub, offering a beautifully presented menu of locally sourced and selected dishes. Our classic pub menu is backed up with a daily specials board offering further seasonal choices. We hope diners think our menu suits all tastes, with fish and vegetarian options always available. The White Hart welcomes children and well behaved dogs, (or is it the other way round!) so we are a popular venue for walkers enjoying the surrounding countryside and the excellent network of footpaths. The pub also offers an alfresco dining area under our covered pergola, with far reaching views towards Beachy Head, over a large sweeping panorama of the Vale of Ashburnham immortalised by the painter William Turner (1775 - 1851).
