A nice place with tasty food. Highly recommended. The greek salad, halloumi, and calamari for starters were delicious and full of flavour. The calamri was a bit oily and not crunchy though. We had the lamb ribs and pig steak for main. These are top particularly the lamb with its seasoning and perfect cooking
Don’t know what happened to this place but until 10 years ago i would have given it a full 5 stars.Staff and owners are not who they used to be , everything changed, and they stopped doing take away.Food is also different, still very good but different , there is that ‘something’ lacking.With the old staff and owners even with a full restaurant nobody waited more than 3 minutes, as the staff knew how to move and work around.Now there is a 5 minute wait to just say hello !
The food was really good (I cannot stress this enough). The spices were very well balanced. We ordered the chicken souvlaki, moussaka, spanakopita, and tzaziki– everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly–only negative is that they take long to start paying attention to you, however I think it might be because the place was full.
After reading other reviews, we visited Santorini for dinner on a Tuesday night. The food was decent enough, however I’m taking points off for two really simple things. When we initially ordered our drinks, I also asked for tap water as I didn’t want to pay 4 for still water. The waiter wrote down our other drinks but when I asked for the water, he didn’t write anything. Surprise surprise, the water never came. We also sat at our table for most of the meal with empty glasses and at no point were we asked if we wanted another drink. These two really simple things completely changed our attitude at dinner. If we are going to pay 55 for dinner, then I expect quality customer service.
The best Greek restaurant. Food is great, the staff friendly and attentive, reasonable prices and a Greek decor without being tacky.I am Greek and I don’t like Greek restaurants in London because they don;t serve authentic Greek food. This one does.Oh and when the water mentions the day’s special that is not on the menu, go for it. You won’t regret it.
