Good food, friendly staff. I’ve eaten at Cafe Mbriki many times and have always enjoyed my meal. The staff are friendly and prompt and there’s a really nice welcoming atmosphere. I can’t agree less with J’s recent review as I’ve only ever drop in at lunchtimes and always find good seat . And incidentally, they do provide newspapers for customers.
Awful seating. Bog standard cafe fare, ordinary drinks, avergae prices.Trouble is it’s murder trying to get a decent seat. You end up jammed in somewhere if you go around lunch and feel an unspoken pressure to drink up and get out quickly.Try Cafe Dido on the same street. Also ordinary but better layout and they provide nespapers for customers.
