Always good. I first went to Bobby’s restaurant in the 1980s and every time I am in Leicester I make a B-Line to my favourite sweet mart and restaurant. The food is always stunning and, despite what the previous ‘critic’ posted, it is top quality and great value too. The buffet lunch is amazing. If you haven’t been then try it….you won’t be disappointed.
Over-rated. Before I moved to Leicester this was the only restaurant I had heard much about. It’s reputation has travlelled far and wide and many people in London and Manchester have spoken of Bobby’s to me.I expected great things… and didn’t get them.The food is really very ordinary.I live very close and do sometimes see Bobbyfrom time to time in Sainsbury buying Basics butter by the trolley-load. No thanks, for those prices I don’t want Basics ingredients.Try Dakshin, cheaper and much better food. Hard to get a seat at times but this speaks voumes about the food
