Amazing environment and great food! Good if you want to experience a traditional French environment. Great location and staff are also French. Recommend the duck breast.

This French gem is tucked in a beautiful spot in South Kensington and is as cosy as a restaurant can be, making it an ideal place for a winter dinner or an intimate date. You will be bonjour’d the moment you open the door and will receive the upside of French hospitality; French jovial servers here and none of the rude Parisian waiter attitude. I decided to order a very French dish; rabbit saddle cooked in a dijon mustard sauce. It was delicious. Appetisers were very good as well. All in all it was a very good experience in a very cosy atmosphere; yet the food will not blow your mind away. Follow me on instagram @londonarab_foodie

Go for a romantic dinner by candlelight and if you can ignore the slightly kitsch decorations, you will be transported to a rustic french enclave. Wine list and food are fine, but especially for dinner, the candle-lit ambience is the real star.

One of best French restaurants in London. We’ve eaten there several times and it is always wonderful. The rustic wooden tables and French-speaking staff add great ambience to this near-perfect bistro.

Date Night. A first date, a double date, a date with a good friend doesn’t matter…. this is a wonderfully romantic place full of rustic charm and good cooking. The house wine is served family style which means the magnum bottle is marked where you leave off so be careful if you are driving, but, it is certainly good enough to quaff all evening long. Get a table overlooking the square and when you go, you must have the tart tatin, it is simply THE BEST!

I absolutely love this place. Always a 10 out of 10!

Great French food…. I’ve eaten here a couple of times. The last time, I took a couple of business associates from Geneva. The absolutley loved it. The food is very authentic and the place is always full, so booking is advised. The service is typically French, i.e. slow to the point of annoying, but it’s well worth the wait…Don’t bother if you’re on a budget, this is one for the expenses account!
