The Alfred Tennyson is an elegant gastro pub in the heart of Belgravia which serves (among other things I am sure) an excellent breakfast. My Full English came with two perfectly poached eggs, a sausage, a crispy strip of bacon, two thick slices of black pudding, a little cast iron dish of baked beans, and a Portobello mushroom. Oh, and a slice of toast. Friends who ordered the soft-poached eggs with crushed avocado were equally happy with their choice. The croissants are to die for and well worth a second (to hell with the diet), especially when smothered with marmalade. I didnt think much of their Bloody Mary though. Service is friendly and accommodating. Pricey but worth a visit.Waste NOT. Want NOT.
You can tell by the postcode and the grand name that it isn’t going to be shit.Pub downstairs, restaurant up. Great feel inside, perfect blend of casual and luxury.Food top notch, shout out to the guinea foul dish. Mayo that came w/ my chicken burger was otherworldly. Earl Grey Custard Tart actually bangin, great flourish for the 200+ meal for 5.*No photos unfortunately as it was too dark to see and too posh to draw attention with a flash.Overall, despite sounding like a Pokemon, this is a restaurant(/gastropub) well worth visiting.

I love this place. The staff are friendly, the food is great (especially the Sunday roast). The perfect day for this venue is however a sunny day as it is located on a quiet and pretty street in Mayfair that is really brought to life on a sunny day
