Disgusting poor service the food was unacceptable and outrageously over priced
Lovely location, specially for a sunny sunday. The counter was queued by 11.30 so I guess we reached just in time to find a place to sit outside in the sun and enjoy some peanut butter with toast, and eggs, beans with toast. The ginger bread latte was pretty good as well. Would definitely give this place another visit soon!
We went there today with my girlfriend and our two toddlers to have a quick coffee! Once we walked in instead of hello we have been asked by a man how long are we going to stay as ‘ we are busy at lunch time ‘. There were only two people in and another member of staff sitting at the table. They should get a sign outside the door saying buggies are not welcomed , so next time none would bother to come in!
Staff obviously didn’t get the memo that ‘customer is the king’, because only thanks to customers the staff has a job. There are a lot of friendly cafes in the neighborhood where staff doesn’t have a problem with attitude. Stay away, if you can!I went for a walk along the river during the weekend and because nearby Starbuck’s was too busy, we decided to walk it to this nicely looking cafe. They had cosy sofas, which is a plus. While my friend went to the toilet, I was waiting in line near leading toward the cash register. After about 10 min waiting, the waiter asked us what we would like to order and I started ordering, his female colleague jumped in, interrupted me abruptly and said that we are actually not waiting in line. Then she pointed out to another line of about 3 people that was near the entrance. I looked behind us and there were about 4 people waiting in ‘our’ line. So I have asked her why she is telling us that after we wait 10 minutes. She didn’t even answer me and was ignoring me. I am a fairly laid back customer, but this was too much even for me. I told her that customers don’t deserve such arrogant attitude and pointed out that such behavior doesn’t belong in a good French cafe.
