This is one of the good ole places in London. Tucked away inside from the hustle bustle of the river side walk, this hidden gem serves some amazing brews. Their food is local pub fare with huge portions and the desserts are good and as huge as the mains. Brownie is a must try.
Loads of time for the Tap. Tucked down the back of Tower Bridge, local boozer, Sam Smiths so cheaper than usual. Chilled, intimate, pool, darts. Might be a couple of frugal students looking to save money lurking but they mean no harm. Surprisingly spacious smoking area.Well worth a visit if in the area

The Anchor Tap isn’t the best Sam Smiths pub in London. It is hidden away behind Butler’s Wharf and gives the impression of having been overlooked in the regeneration of the area. The bar is fairly large and the staff are friendly enough, but the atmosphere is definitely gloomy. There is a decent smoking area out the back and the bar is broken down into a couple of rooms, which lends some intimacy at least.
