Just landed in London yesterday evening and hit The Bridge House at 9:30 PM. One of the few pubs in Tower Bridge which has the kitchen open at around that time in Summer.Food: Ordered the Chicken Breast Burger which comes along with Salad and Fries and tried out the Lighthouse beer. The food was good but the place is known more for the drinks. Lighthouse beer was ok, nothing wow – they have a variety of other beers though so might try something else next time. Service: Service was on time despite the place being fairly packed.Ambience: Liked the casual pub feel. Free wifi available as well so that’s a big plus for someone married to their smartphone.Overall, likely to go pay a visit again for the drinks and ambience. If you are around Tower Bridge, would recommend a visit.
Very interesting place. It is a great lunch option as the prices are very reasonable. I remember their food being great so went there again recently. Unfortunately, the pork sandwich I had this time disappointed – the fries were the only saving grace. I will probably end up here again for drinks but won’t be looking forward to the food.
