We were looking for somewhere quick to grab dinner before heading to the comedy club. This humble caf caught my eye as I waited for friends outside Bethnal Green station. They serve delicious home cooked British and Greek food. I had the kleftiko, which is slow cooked tender lamb with herbs. This came with a side of veggies and chips, enough food for a feast! Save room for the old school desserts, the jam rolly polly in custard was great! I’ll be back, and next time I’ll be sure to take pictures as words don’t do it justice.
