Absolutely awful – the Chicken burger just tasted of grease/old oil, which lingers now as an aftertaste. Even the strong ketchup and barbecue sauce couldn’t cut through that flavour to make it palatable. Deeply regretting buying chicken there. Fries ok.
You can’t go wrong with a good old fried chicken store! … That’s a lie you definitely can. However perfect fried chicken is exactly as they say! No false advertising here! The chicken was fried to perfection not too dry or, as many are, so greasy you run the risk of dropping it on the way to your gob. The fries also great, although I do wish these chicken places would catch I and have the option of fat or skinny fries. Must be a New Zealand thing. The guys serving were also very pleasant. Bang for your buck too at 3 pound for chicken and fries!
