I smelled the chips and vinegar before I saw the restaurant….what is it about that tangy smell that makes you crave chips there and then? After a long walk I was starving, so ordered a plate of fish and chips and settled into a little table for two. The cutlery may be plastic and the plates paper, but the food is good – the fish was well battered, and flaky within. The chips were very good – it is nigh on impossible to find good ‘chippy’ style chips in London (fries, fries everywhere) – next time my inner Scot is craving some of these I shall return.
