Unprepared & mediocre pizza. Party pre-booked a day before yet staff seemed completely unprepared as we kept having to tell them what was ordered. While half of us had eaten, the rest hadn’t even got meals. The pizza itself was mediocre and nothing special, it really was no better than an average takeaway pizza, therefore expensive for what it was. It seems that this place hasn’t got a very good manager, blaming a lack of staff or the size of the party is a restaurants fault, if you can’t handle the size don’t allow it.Also be sure to bring cash as you can’t even pay at the bar for drinks if it’s under 5, which is completely ridiculous for such a business.

Absolutely Disgusting. We had been going every week and the Pizza’s were fine, although the service could have been better. However we went on Christamas eve after having a nightmare trying to book it after being told the Manageress had recently left. What they brought us as ‘so called food’ was disgusting!! it looked like an Iceland chicken burger and Mcdonald fries, it also tasted like it as well. The Service was terrible the place was empty and the price was a complete rip off!! the so called christmas carols didnt happen and it was a complete washout! We bumped into friend’s the next day who had also booked but cancelled after being told how bad the food and service was……my advice…drive past.

Been going here for some years, it’s never been run great but the pizza is good, recently changed hands and it’s not for the best, they never excepted the taste card using all kind of excuses before they were taken off taste card in the end. Today though we got the chips for the pizza delivered then a few mins later told the pizza would be another five mins so they took the chips back to keep warm, eventually all was delivered but turned out the chips were raw took another 10 mins for fresh chips which were slightly more cooked to go with cold pizza, we asked for tomato sauce and vinegar (which came in a milk jug, so they drenched the chips) the best part has to be the bill coming and we were charged 70pence for 2 dips after enquiring what they were for it was explained sauce and vinegar is classed as a dip at 35 pence each, couple of things it’s a kind of nice pub never in a pub have I been charged for simple condiments but 2 if they put vinegar in an actual vinegar bottle maybe people wouldn’t spoil the uncooked chips even more and Winston’s wouldn’t go through so much thus not having to charge for it. You’d be pleased to know salt and ground pepper is free of charge.
