The food here is really nice. Portions aren’t over large, but great for lunch. Beeen a few times, and always pop in now when in Southport.
It’s been said in other reviews but it is a traditional cafe. Nothing fancy just good homemade, freshly cooked cafe food. Always busy so sometimes it’s hard to get a table.
Clean cafe with a good selection of traditional cafe food – we had full english for £5.50 – bargain and better quality than our hotel. It was all nicely cooked and not at all greasy.
It’s like going back to the 60’s. Chips, pie, mushy peas etc. Food ok if not a little bland, but in saying this it is very popular with the pensioners and is very busy.
