We were lucky to get a table as a busy weekend but the staff were friendly and efficient and we all enjoyed our food.Also ordered cakes which were delicious! Perfect and convenient lunch stop. Cute decoration.
Stopped in by after finding this excellent tea room by pure chance. We do enjoy a coffee or tea on our travels of the day and prefer the independents from chains. Excellent selection of teas and coffees with lovely chocolate cake and scones.
So in York, looking for a cuppa, came across here.The service was good, I had the Cream Tea and my wife had tuna sandwich and coffeeThe food was really good will go here again, rather than Costa/Nero!
Found whilst exploring York – stopped for a welcome cuppa. Good old fashioned table service in keeping with the area in which it is positioned. Lovely homely atmosphere and the staff friendly and welcoming.
