We are an independent, family run licensed cafe/restaurant situated in York's resurgent Micklegate. We have an all day Breakfast/Brunch Menu and a lunch menu which changes weekly. Kitchen opens 9-3/ We cook everything to order using the best quality fresh ingredients. We support local suppliers and independent producers, bakers and roasters. Our menu takes its inspiration from the seasons and the richness of the produce that we source with our team. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday we open in the evenings for casual dining. Our talented chefs create a menu that changes weekly, celebrating the seasons, the abundance of produce available to us. They cook with passion and reverence, and our dishes are unpretentious yet soulful. We serve a variety of dishes and we try hard to cater for vegans and vegetarians with plant based, inventive, modern dishes. We believe that food is that food is what brings us together, and the ambience in the evening is relaxed and informal. Covers are limited.
