The Rattle Owl is an independent 42 seat casual dining restaurant housed in a restored listed building. With a commitment to exceptional food, using the best local produce and an amazing selection of wine together matched perfectly with exceptional service and atmosphere. We are proud of our 'proper' Sunday lunch, and provide a wonderful private dining experience in our upstairs room in our historic building. We've even got Roman remains in our basement - well this is York.
