Cafe situated within The Red House Antique Centre a stones throw away from the York Minster. Specialising in fresh home-made Sandwiches, Soups, Cakes, Scones, Tea & Coffee. All served in a delightfully quirky and relaxing atmosphere. We have strived to bring the tourists and locals of York a place to eat, drink, relax and enjoy the historic city. Located on the first floor within the 18th century former town house, situated in the heart of the city centre. It is a Grade 2 listed building which was constructed in 1700 for Sir William Robinson, Lord Mayor of York, and is reputed to be designed by William Etty. So why not pop in and enjoy a cafetiere, a slice of home-made blackberry cheesecake and a walk round a period building containing over 50,000 antiques!
