At York Cocoa House we love chocolate, we've been inspired by York's chocolate and confectionery heritage to share our love of chocolate with our visitors and our growing family of chocolate lovers.Join us to enjoy our Chocolate Cafe where everything is served with chocolate, even our savoury menu. Visit our Chocolate Library which is full of all the chocolate books we have learned from and has inspired our love of chocolate, you can even discover our favourite recipes that you can take home and make yourself. Our Chocolate Shop sells our own hand made chocolates, made with locally sourced ingredients such as York Chocolate Stout, Rhubarb, Fruits and berries and even Yorkshire Blue Cheese. We also work closely with chocolate makers across Yorkshire to celebrate the ever growing chocolate industry that York was once famous for.While with us you can also visit our Chocolate Workshop, dropping in to make your own chocolates or booking with us to learn more about how to work and play with chocolate. All our workshops are available for individuals or groups and invite you to learn more about chocolate and how you can work with it in your own home.
