Avoid like the plague. I have often gone past this restaurant in Blackheath and finally decided to try as every other restaurant in the village I have been to has provided good food and good service. I ordered in a takeaway from home but they called back stating that they couldn’t deliver to my address for another 2 hours (I really should have taken this as a warning sign and gone down to the chip pie instead!). I decided to drive down and collect my order. I went home opened up the boxed and was very disappointed with each and every dish:king prawn fried rice – hardly any prawns (5 in a large box)lemon chicken – overcooked, the chicken was very toughSingapore rice noodles – advertised as spicy it was actually very bland the colour of the noodles was different to other resturantsmixed vegetables – all the vegetables were overcooked and there wasn’t much variety everything was literally brown (not fresh and colourful and crunchy as I am used to)duck curry – this was absolutely disgusting, massive pieces of duck fat and skin dumped into a super thick curry sauceshredded chilli beef – very very chewyI was given the following dish for free as i had to drive over and collect but again I was disappointedlamb ribs – extremely fatty with no seasoning or sauce or flavourAll I can say is that this is simply the very worst food I have ever eaten in my life. I binned it and would never ever try this again not even for free. You have been warned!
