Terrible pizza. This might be ok for pasta – but i had the most bland pizza of my life at this place and was really disappointed. Bland crust, bland sauce and low sauce to cheese ratio. Worst pizza ever, dont order it here.
Amazing italian food. The pizza here was delectable and the melanzane parmigiana was to die for! generous servings packed with rich italian flavour. friendly service too!
Worset service i order a fish and chips but i change my mind in less than minute the waiter came and said already been cooked it seem they just want get rid of frozen fish they kept in freezer for long time anyway food is below averge i do not recommed this resturant to anyone looking for nice meal
Absolutely loved it. We loved our meals and the staff is lovely.
Good Italian Food. 28 Oct 11: I normally research restaurants before I travel, jotting down a selection to choose from. This was a place I had not read about and quite frankly my list did not have a single Italian restaurant on it. Located near our hotel (George Hotel) I had my fill of pub foods. Six of us decided to give it a try.We arrived without any reservations, The place was completely full but the manager got us seated in just a few minutes. We sat towards the back of the restaurant at a large table.I started with the grilled goat cheese appetizer: Two large pieces of toast topped with goat cheese, roasted peppers and served with a salad. Next I had the Ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach in a sage butter sauce; Tony had the spaghetti Bolognese (7.95). Both were large portions and very good. Along with our meal we had a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio. Our friends enjoyed their dishes too.We were happy with our restaurant choice, as the prices were reasonable and the food portions large. Service was a little slow to start but that was understandable due to the busy evening.
Not as good as I remembered…. I went to university around here and this was one of my favorite informal London restaurants. I would recommend it, I would bring people here, and had a fantastic night every visit. HOWEVER, I went here the other night and was really disappointed. The food wasn’t as good as it used to be (but I was trying something new from the specials menu so I could have just ordered badly). But the service was inexcusable! It was slow, the waitress was moody (and I mean really moody), forgot to bring us things, had visibly dirty hands, AND got our order wrong. Which is a real shame because my experience of the service at this place prior to last week has been incredible. All in all, I might give it another go if I’m around. But I don’t think it will be the destination restaurant it used to be.
10 out of 10. What a great restaurant. Very stylish and the people were really friendly without being intrusive. Food was of the highest quality. The Farfalle Puttanesca was sensational – I’d go out of my way to visit to try that again. Wine list was good, but could do with being a bit longer.
