It’s seriously tiny but it does the job if all you are looking for is a quick coffee fix and a bite to eat! Nothing spectacular, but you get your money’s worth. As you would expect, they have pretty decent coffee…definitely better than any Starbucks or chain kinda’ cafe.
This place is even smaller than the Beani Bar which it neighbours, but I always think that the smells wafting from its doorway are somehow more delicious. Expect to queue if you come at lunch time, but the staff are extremely friendly in the way that engenders a kind of loyalty from you before you know it. The food is fairly standard, unfortunately, Paninis and sandwiches, so don’t get too excited!
This place won’t get the heart racing, but it will do you a decent sandwich at a decent price. It gets very busy in here at lunchtime, which is, of course, a good sign. And if you do decide to wrestle your way to the front of this tiny premise, I’d recommend the bacon sandwich which they appear to cook fresh for you. It is, however, much too small to sit comfortably within and ‘eat in.’ For that, the beani bar next door may be the answer to your prayers. Screw Flanders.
