A proper pub!. ‘The Calthorpe’ on the Gray’s Inn Road is proper London Pub. It is not a gastropub, student bar, theme pub or chain restaurant – it is a traditional London Pub (not many left in Central London). There is a good choice of beer that is kept well, the food is good quality and freshly made (+ cheap for this part of town) and it has a friendly atmosphere. If you want a good place to meet in Central London or somewhere to escape the rat race or just have a few pints with friends after work then look no further.
