The food was just excellent. Probably a bit overpriced but delicious breakfast and coffee. We got the veg burger and the sandwich which were both awesome. So were the fries.
Not a place I would recommend. Probably the most distasteful Sandwich and crisp combination which I can rather buy from a supermarket.Burger patty same problem , picked up from supermarket and tasted like flour. Please avoid. To top it they provide hand written bills with taxes not added. Not very tourist friendly I would say.
Worst place ever…. Some fellow uni mates and I went in here for lunch during a visit to The British Museum and must say it was very poor. Between the four of us two had chips and two had a burger. Prices for the food seemed reasonable, especially for somewhere so close to a popular tourist destination, but upon receiving our food we could see why. Chips were a fair portion size but cold and burgers were a tiny bit of beef hidden in a massive bun. Two of my friends had a beer which again seemed fairly priced but apparently were watered down and both cokes that me and my other friend had were very small for 1.95 and were very flat. Cleanliness was bad which you could put down to the busy time of day. Service wasn’t exactly warm inviting. I was also overcharged by about 50p which I wouldn’t have minded if everything else about the experience had been good. We didn’t bother complaining as they didn’t seem very customer orientated. I strongly recommend walking the extra two minutes around the corner to the McDonalds by Tottenham Court Road, we wish we had…
If tourists think that this is traditional fish and chips they will never come back to visit the country let alone this place. Frozen fish in simmering that resembles a concrete crust is not my choice. Go elsewhere.
Tourist heaven!. Good food, friendly service and a very British menu. Aimed squarely at tourists, unsurprisingly since it’s opposite the British Museum, and priced accordingly.
