I have ordered Veg pakora, Chicken Biriyani, Baghare Bhaigan and Garlic Nan. Everything was worst. The taste was pathetic. I have eaten in many restaurants in Europe and I would say that this is the worst food. Even though the cost is very low, the taste is very worst.
This restaurant may not appear to be much from the outside but inside it is small and cosy! I ordered a vegetarian curry with rice and a naan and I was not disappointed. The service was a little on the slow side; collecting order, serving food and tending to tap water needs etc. so try and be prompt with decision making and do not be shy to ask twice (they don’t bite). Worth the wait the food was top, generously served and super affordable- would recommend!
I found a hair in my food, was offered a replacement but felt so sick that I could not stomach anything else from that kitchen. The rude arrogant and argumentative waiter refused to not charge me! As I had touched my food!! and only ate about 1/3 (unfortunately!!) Said that the boss wasn’t there and he could do nothing! Didn’t even apologise. I stupidly paid and left as I hate confrontation and was by myself!! Shocked and discusted!!!!
Walking distance from Russell Sq tube station. The lunch menu for 4.5 pounds, with one starter, a main dish and naan or rice is a great attraction. Service is quick, and ambience is comfortable. They open for lunch only from 12-3pm..so you dont wanna be late.
