Finished ?. Was excellent when it opened, but tonight’s takeaway was the worst meal we have had for a long time. No flavour, sauces were floury and watery, the korma was just a couple of pieces of lamb in onion gravy, the chicken had not been marinated before cooking. The Peshwari nan was identical to the plain nana, and the Basmati rice sertainly was not Basmati ! The decline in standards has been evident for a year now, but the Bayleaf is surely on the edge of closure ? Macclesfield Sainsbury does a much better Indian food selection for less money. Forget the Bayleaf … please !

Dont bother. I dont know were claire is coming from ive lived in this area all my life., been to alot of indian restaurant in the area i think bayleaf is the worst ive been too, the food is crap dosent go with the look, the best curry house in bollinton is viceroy , thats why its always packed. the amount of customers tells it all
