The reviewer who didn’t stay and eat the food here should kick himself as he missed the chance to eat food prepared by a chef who really knows his stuff. Not much to look at from the outside, simple and functional decor inside, but it’s the food that makes this place a cut above the rest (and a damn sight better than most places with Gastro-Pub inclinations). Choose here above anything else within 25 miles.
Arrived to find noone behind bar. Finally got wine menu. Extortionate prices. Thankfully 10 minutes on noone had come back to take our order so we didn’t feel compelled to stay!! Don’t offer tables if you have neither the space nor staff.
