I was sent in the direction of this hidden gem on the outskirts of Borough market for its reputable Carrot cake. With apprehension did I seek to be astounded by something that doesn’t resemble a traditional carrot cake with its light complexion and passion fruit drizzle atop a mascarpone wedge. But within one mouthful of what could only be described as a rollercoaster of cinnamon, carrot, hazelnut, spice, mascarpone, and passionfruit. It’s not that this is the best carrot cake (in the traditional sense), but this an entirely new species of the stuff, and I just want more!

What a delight the pumpkin pie was the die for fresh pie is hard to find at this standard I was very happy will definitely return. Only down fall was unfriendly and lazy staff.

It’s amazing. Good place to come to after borough market. Pecan brownies are to die for. Not ideal for eat in. Take away like everything else at borough market

A really tiny place to sit down and eat. You will get to know the staff well! I would not advise sitting in. Not because of the standard or service just the space. However take away is a great option. You have the wonderful cathedral gardens to sit in and eat why would you want to be coupled up inside? The cakes here are to die for! So are the brownies. A real treat after a walk around the market!

Fudge-packer brownie. OMG. Fudge packer brownie packs a punch of gooey chocolate caramel goodness
