A perfect outlet for me to visit and try out and the ambience Is even so good here and the place gives good music and drinks, perfect combo isn’t it?
I ended up in Number 1 Bar at the end of an evening meal with friends, we wanted to go out but we weren’t really in the mood to fuss over any clubs. Now the great thing about here is that its Bar with pool tables! It took a little while to get in (Saturday night) but after we all got through the security (21 and over) we went upstairs to the pool (table) and bar area. The drinks are averagely priced as well as in regards to the taste. After standing at the bar for a good 10 minutes we finally managed to get served, the staff were friendly though i did notice there was a slight favouritism going on, some people were just getting served automatically and it was obvious it was because they were regulars or friends, now this is normal and as much as its annoying its inevitable but it did irk me slightly but it didn’t ruin my night! We were lucky enough to get a pool table straight away, I’m not sure how it works if there aren’t any available but i imagine you either speak to a member of staff or work it out with the people playing on one of the tables. The music was pretty good, and for you football fans there was also big TV screens showing matches and other sports so you can really kick back and have a really chilled night out playing pool, drinking, listening to music and football; the best of all worlds really!
In the case you are around the London Bridge and looking late night place to have some drink and enjoy that is the place. Downstairs become a night club after midnight. And on second floor you can play snooker or watch the big screen football match. Reasonable price and nice atmosphere.
Chris spain. Good central location. Very close to London Bridge station.Good signage….. you cant miss it. I like the size and colour. The restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. I like the layout as well.I went with two friends. All our meals were enjoyed.Salmon with tasty veg. delicious paella, and ribs cooked to perfection.Deserts were lovely too.Service was excellent. Will definately go there again!
I was introduced to this place by a friend who suggested playing some pool. It was hard to get into when we arrived at 11:30pm, they took our pictures along with checking ID’s – we got in for free but the security was pretty tight. Upstairs seemed like an arcade, with a dozen pool and fuse-ball tables and a bar, downstairs turns into a nightclub after hours, playing hiphop and chart music. We played some pool and then headed downstairs for some crazy dancing. The location is convenient being so close to London Bridge tube stop. I had an entertaining evening here.
