I tried this restaurant a bit hidden on a Thursday night at Borough market. The menu only has dishes containing cocoa. You could still take a burger and remove the cocoa on the top, but in general the concept is to make/combine everything with cocoa, mayo included. I had the pork belly and my friends took a burger. The French fries were delicious and the pork belly was good. I didn’t taste the burger. I have to say, if I hadn’t seen on the menu that the pork belly sauce contained cocoa, I would not have noticed it. Overall a good and calm restaurant with a nice terrace in the market. It didn’t impress me though for their use of the cocoa in the main dishes.

Other than a latte this morning from a machine (which scored a zero) was our first amazing offering of a flat white in London. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 was it wasn’t quite hot enough. The flavors were amazing

Good coffee. Great range of chocolate and gift ideas. A bit pricey but they look to be of high quality. We were there for post-lunch coffee so didn’t try their food but the menu looks scrumptious and the bakery items also very appealing. operationgoodfood.wordpress.com

Hotel Chocolate has a restaurant at London Bridge. If you are a chocolate lover like me you need to visit this place. All items on the menu have cacao in them one way or another and the food is great. I had the Mac and cheese with cacao nibs. It was delicious. We had some sides of veg as well and again with cacao in one way or another It’s not sweet and it’s not overpowering. It’s a very cleaver way of adding a little bit of chocolate to all the meals. The setting is also beautiful. Right on borough market the restaurant upstairs is modern whilst the bar down stairs has opening shutters at the front lovely on a summer day. Best of all upstairs they have on outside seating area which looks out on to the market with umbrellas for shelter and heaters. It was beautiful. The only downside was you are next to the trains! It’s not cheap but it is worth a visit… And the hot chocolates are amazing. I recommend the salted caramel one! I could have drank them all evening Staff are knowledge and very friendly. Go and check it out!
