Great cafe for a fry up, one of my favourite places to have breakfast whenever I am in the area. Lunch is quite good as well, particularly the sausage, mash and onions on Fridays.

Terry’s cafe lives up to the hype. Great small cafe with seating for around 20. Get here early cause it will get busy fast. Ordered The Works for about 10 and it comes with everything you would ever need and more. Sausage. Bacon. Black pudding. Beans and mushrooms. Bubbles and squeak. Eggs. Come get a great breakfast but make sure you get here before 1145 am

It’s been a long search to find the best fry up in London but I’ve finally found a winner. Terry’s has taken the crown by some distance, they’re not open for long and it’s a bit of a schlep, unless you’re fortunate enough to live in SE1, but definitely it’s definitely worth the trek. Proper sausages and bacon and that extra bit of care and attention makes this, by a country mile, the best fry up I’ve managed to find. A little gem of a place which is well worth a visit.

Terry’s is quality. Although a bit of a strange one. Limited opening hours give an air of exclusivity to a cafe that looks like it has been on Great Suffolk Street for centuries (as opposed to the few decades it has been there). The cosy old fashioned interior could easily just be fashionable decoration, but is instead fully authentic – the authenticity further reflected in simple, but bang on quality cafe food. A straight forward cup of coffee for a quid, and a thick white bread sandwich that feels as homemade as they get.(The special BLT was top notch and hits the spot beautifully for 5)It’s highly rated so expect it to be busy, but Terry’s is a perfect lunch spot. You’re a lucky lucky man if it is your ~regular~.

My daughter loved their sandwiches thought we always use the take away service and never got a chance to dine in but there sandwiches are amazing. I have tried many of them but my favorite is fish finger sandwich. Service has always been great and food is very reasonably priced. We love this place and will definitely recommend.

Terry’s just does it right. Strongly brewed tea as soon as you step through the door, bubble & squeak which sticks to your bones and trad jazz to wash it all down with. Spending a little extra on good ingredients makes a big difference and the portion size ensures Terry’s is always full. Go grab a seat and enjoy the best fry up in London.
