We had a very good meal but the service was excelant we arrived over 1 hour early but it was no trouble for people to fit us in we had a very good waiter who never left us waiting for any course he even refused a tip you dont get that type of service in many resturants .And it was a voucher meal ,would go again
Nice place with outside seats available also during Winter, suitable to smokers.Went there a few times and shared a bottle of red wine with two friends. I was not really enthusiastic. The place is decent, but the service is way slow.We almost finished our wine when we received our meals. I had a Fish&Chips. Really big portion, did not manage to even finish it and it was good,but not remarkable. Not really more to say about it. It was close to my previous house, that is the reason why we used to hang out there. Also, they do Karaoke and that is pretty cool if you wanna enjoy some funny time with your friends.
The pub is pretty well placed and close enough to my work place that I inevitably end up choosing it in the rotation when going out for some drinks, unless I am hungry. The food is pretty much generic pub food – and not too good at that. Avoid their faux indian dishes although they might look the most palatable on the menu. They will not taste anything like what you will imagine. Stick to chips and beer -and you will have a good time.
