Amazing food service and beer, large group 25 of us ordered individually in small groups the lady behind the bar took all the food orders like a pro, explained there may be a wait and she would try to get the orders to the kitchen close together and out together so we could enjoy food as a family. She then remembered everyones drink which she made last. Outstanding service, food came together hot and quick very impressed. The view and location are brilliant but what make this place great is the well trained team throughout the pub.
Polite team excel in service going above and beyond to ensure you experience is above expectations. It was very busy and all staff were great at serving quickly and still smiling, the bar queue was quick to move. Large screen for the football and the second bar was opened to ensure we didnt miss a second of the game. Great atmosphere will be back.
Another one from my fabulous London trip. This one is a very rustic old fashioned pub! Gives a good ole London vibe! Definitely a must try if youre in town. You should try the fish fingers. They were to die for! And the classic chicken burger is .We tried the calamari and it was amazing.Follow us on Instagram @all.in.the.belly
Really mediocre. Honestly, the location is all this place has going for it. The food is plain and boring, and a bit overpriced as well. There is some variety of beers, but it’s really not worth its price.Worst of all, I was terribly treated by one of the waiters, who was really rude (and downright aggressive) when I asked him if there were any available seats inside. I’m sure that most people who work at Thameside are perfectly nice, and that he was just a bad apple, but this was a very unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t go back.
The location of the place is brilliant. Just right beside the river Thames. The outdoor seating is awesome. It is a nice experience to drink by the riverside. The indoor seating is a slightly small. The service is a bit slow too. Overall a nice place to spent some quality time.
This pub’s winning points goes to the location right by the river. If it’s not chilly try to sit outside for the view. Our visit was quick, looking for a good spot to have a beer and snacks after a day visiting the town. The place was packed with locals having a pint after work. Still we managed to get a table and appreciate the experience of the pub. Packed with people on the top floor just having a drink, in the lower floor, where we sat, there are more tables and the music is not as loud. The service was ok but not great. If you stay inside you have to tell the table number when you order in the counter as there is no table service. We had our beer and some nachos so I can’t evaluate the rest of the menu.
This pub is in a good location for tourists, it has a reasonably good beer and wine selection, it is kid friendly and the menu has various British dishes. On our visit the staff were friendly and a few of us tried the Sunday roast. Whilst the meat (turkey & Lamb shank) didn’t my look hugely appetising when it came out, it was tasty and not dry. The roast parsnips, potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were ok, but tasted like they were packet bought and cooked from frozen, which didn’t quite fit with the meal cost or menu claims. The chantenay carrots were so small I had trouble getting them on my fork and the green beans were chewy and rubbery. So all-in-all the meal was a mixed bag (it took 30mins to arrive too). It was however a reasonably good place to have taken the kids for the area, as there was minimal fuss and they had children’s menus to colour in.
