Had a meeting in Wendell’s recently with a colleague.As a venue, it’s ok, just nothing special. It’s a simple little place with a few chairs and tables overlooking an empty courtyard from large wrap-around windows. The decor doesn’t feel as though it’s had much put into it, and I suppose its primary purpose is to serve those who work in the same building. It definitely provides a nice quiet place to sit and discuss work without distraction or frills.The food is very much cafe ware with sandwiches, hot snacks and smoothies. I opted for a fresh fruit smoothie, which claimed to complete 2.5 of your recommended 5 servings of fruit a day. It was acceptable, but just like the ambiance, nothing to really write home about.All I really have to say on this venue, is that it caters to those needing a convenient bite to eat before running back to work, or a spot to sit and chat without distraction.
