We were a party of 14. We all enjoyed our meal, mostly of fish and chips. The staff were attentive, if a little busy with other customers. When we left we were thanked for our custom.. We will return.

I love this place, full of character and fantastic fish and chips Good sized portions whether eating in or takeaway, reasonable prices tooI must have been coming here for 25+ years and still as good as the first time
Great Fish and Chips. Never disappoints. Does what it says on the tin. Deffo recommend you will not regret it.
Been using Tate for a number of years now and never had a bad meal, the staff are always friendly, but I do find it quite expensive in the restaurant area.
I have had many a sit down and take away meal from here. Always fresh and tasty. Sometimes you have to wait because of people needing serving but on the whole it’s worth the wait.
