Nice friendly atmosphere for a couple of pints, not badly priced. Plenty of screens to watch the match and pool table and quiz machine for groups who want to make their own entertainment. The pub has a mix of old school regulars and young students all are welcome 🙂 The food is pretty average in all honesty but for the price what you get is very reasonable.
This is where the boys go to watch the football of whatever other sport is on. William Hill is just across the road, and on weekends you’ll see students and locals alike, placing their bets and heading to the goose for a pint.
