A pub that does PROPER food!. Excellent gastro-pub. The early bird lunch menu (12-2) is great value for money. All food is nicely presented, well prepared and well thought through, and the staff are attentive and friendly. Sunday lunch demand can mean the first course can take some time coming, but given everything is prepared fresh, it’s worth waiting for – no microwaved lasagne here! Nice, cosy feel to it too. Highly recommended.
