Smallish bar with a good choice of ales, well kept, very reasonably priced and served at just the right temperature.
Fairly modern decor which creates a warm ,comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.Personally feel the two TV screens are a distractions from its good points.Has an extensive range of local and international beers and ciders, and pleasant service .Also has an interesting programme of activities.
What a great place, lovely warm atmosphere, fantastic selection of great beers, the barman was excellent. Very dog friendly, nice chatty clientele, had a thoroughly great session and will definitely be back.
Considering that the bar specialises in different beer the barman wasn’t interested in explaining the types of beer & made you feel unwelcome. Would not recommend going in here unless you like being treated in an unwelcome fashion!!!!!
