About
Starting as a few guest pop-ups at Cafe Rust, Chard has now acquired a permanent home at I gigi General Store. From October we will serve a seasonal and fresh menu changing monthly. Chard is Benny, Mae and Ciarn - a family run business. We aim to artfully craft each dish in house from scratch, using locally sourced produce, meat and fish, as well as Sussex brewed ale, beer, and cider. Chard is a taste of Sussex in a house of food and creativity.Details

Everything you want from a great restaurant. Welcoming and attentive service. Excellent food. Quirky venue. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were 14 and we all loved it. Excellent job Mae and Ciaran. And thanks.
I visited this restaurant as part of a group. Delicious food, very nice atmosphere and a really good service. I just wish they would open a beach in Nottingham!
