About
Cherubs Kitchen is an exciting community project focused on more than just providing good food but also transforming peoples lives. We do this 1) by specialising in traditional British cuisine in a brasserie style offering the very best of seasonal and traditional dishes, with locally sourced ingredients, produce and own-cooked fare, reconnecting people with the best of our culinary culture served in characterful historic surroundings 2) by hoping that your appreciation of our food will benefit others; as a not-for-profit i.e. after running costs, the clear profit from the sale of our food is shared with local homeless and food charities/projects, and 3) by providing training and employment for those who, often through disadvantaged circumstances, require experience in a professional commercial kitchen to return to or continue, or even begin a career in catering. So not only is our food being fresh, local and own-cooked incredibly delicious and reconnecting people with the best of British! Our food literally transforms the lives of those involved in our apprenticeships and work placement opportunities and others besides!
