We came here on a bank holiday for lunch. I didnt realise how packed and busy this restaurant gets. We had not booked and turned up at 2pm. We were told that there was a waiting period of 10 minutes when we got there as every table was full. The head of house was not far off when he said this and that we ended being seated. We ordered sea bass on a bed of spicy rice, my other half ordered the Caesar Salad and my father in law ordered the seniors fish and chips ( which came with dessert – a bowl of ice cream) the fish was small in comparison to buying it from a fish and chip store. Overall the food was average. My sea bass was a little on the dry side. The Caesar was tasty. I would come back here primarily because of the quick and efficient service. Prices are reasonable too. I enjoy coming to Brighton, one of my favourite places in the UK so I would make another trip here.

Fish and Chips beside the sea. If you find yourself on Brighton seafront and get peckish you can do worse than head over to Harry Ramsden’s for some fish and chips and mushy peas.Yes, you could buy cheaper and greasier fish and chips on the promenade but then you’d have to spend you entire meal fending off dive-bombing seagulls intent on stealing your lunch. So, head to Harry Ramsden’s; the food is good, the service is good and no one will try and steal you chips.(Beware the lunch time rush – unless you like to que.)
