I think the best way Pho can be enjoyed is after a hard night of partying. You go to Pho, get a big bowl of soupy noodles with piping hot beef and burnt garlic smell, and voila!! Your hangovers gone. Plus the stuff is super friendly
Terrible restaurant experience!!. My partner and I love Asian food, and especially vietnamese street food. This restaurant seemed like a great choice. How wrong we were! Our friend had warned us about going, we should have listened! We booked a table for Friday night at 7:30. Once we arrived it turned out that there was no record of our booking. NO apology was offered, by a frankly rude and dismissive staff member. Who seemed to be the manager. We decided to wait for a table to free up, which was took about 45 minutes. We were then hastily sat onto a dirty and extremely small table. We ordered food and drink at the same time. After 25 mins our drinks still had not arrived. I had to ask the very unhelpful waitress where our drinks and food were, but she seemed more interested in making sure her hair was looking ok, then in answering my question. After nearly half an hour our starters arrived, still no drinks. Then over about an hour an a half for our main. The food was completely underwhelming and bland. And my noodle dish was barely warm when it finally arrived. Nothing seemed fresh and after seeing the state of the kitchen that did not surpise me. By this point we were both so frustrated and annoyed we just wanted to get out of there. The added factor of it being almost factory like in layout and appearance which just added to one of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences either of us have had to endure. No offer of conpensation or an apology was offered at any point. Having to pay the hugey overpriced bill was the last straw. But over all it was the staff and managers lack of professionalism, care or customer service was worst part of our appalling experience. We wiill never ever be going back.
One of top 5 places I have had pho in the world. Great variations and the lunch menu is great value at 9.90 for two courses. Highly recommend
Fabulous fresh food in a lively setting in the heart of Brighton. Lovely clean flavours – the green mango salad is one of the best things I have tasted in years – and smiling service. We will be back (often). PS very appropriately priced for the quality of the food.
Family friendly place located in good spot in Brighton. Staff were friendly. A large variety of Pho. Had the chicken which was good. Better than the Bun Bo Hue which I had for dinner same day. Overall decent value.
Funky and frreshhhh. Shame almost every veggie choice contained mushrooms but if they float your boat, then you’re good to go. Opted for a decent and good value salad but a side dish of water spinach (aka morning glory) with garlic was the star. The service was rapid and attentive, by a surprising array of friendly staff. Chilli and garlic pickle condiment was excellent. Managed with nine year old girl extremely well. Drawing kept her entertained and she loved her noodles, which she normally won’t touch.
Friendly service. Good food and staff knowledgeable and able to make recommendations
