Good food, smart restaurant. I have eaten in this restaurant twice now with my girlfriend and read the reviews below -after- having been there so have an unbiased opinion. The restaurant gives an overall impression of grandeur for a small place and we felt a little under dressed.We found it clean and well presented with the option of sitting at the front, with the natural light coming in if you got there early, or at the back which seemed to be where they’d put you if you were suited up, or upstairs.The service was very good, the staff were attentive and the choice on the menu was as to be expected from a decent fish restaurant, I was disappointed at the lack of small shellfish on offer (other than prawns/ scallops) but the rest of the menu more than made up for it.The food was good and fresh, well presented and quickly served. We both had lobster, one of which was significantly better than the other which had a bit foamy flesh- however it’s hard to get consistent quality with a batch of fish, and the worse one was certainly still nice.The second time we ate there was last night (15th June) and made different food choices, myself opting for the Lobster spaghetti which was very fresh and had a generous amount of lobster meat.I highly recommend this restaurant in spite of some of the other reviews where people have had a bad experience.
