Reasonably priced desert caf. The deserts are genuinely tasty and worth the money (5 ish for a large sundae). Unfortunately not all deserts come as advertised (eg, mint sundae says it’ll come with mint syrup, but actually comes with chocolate). Had a panini which was OK, but nothing to write home about. Having said that, I would rather go to Gelatos than the McDonald’s nearby.
Awful. Staff are hopeless. Music is louder than a nightclub. You have to shout your order over the counter. Everything is sticky. The place looks like a nice place to take the kids… don’t! Suitable only for teenagers who dont care what they’re served and like shouting to have a conversation. Train your staff better and turn the flipping music down!
Medium sized shop located inside centrale. Good seating available and is empty most of the times. It’s known mainly for desserts but I came here for lunch with a friend and was disappointed with what I was served. The pasta was bland and tasteless as well as seeming undercooked. My friend ordered a peppers and cheese panini which hardly had any peppers in it on arrival. They offer a side of chips with the order but when it arrived I realised they were talking about ‘crisps’ not chips which again left me disappointed. Prices were reasonable and service was ok although food arrived quite some time later.
Myself and my family went to Gelatos to celebrate a special occasion and were all looking forward to it. We all found the music too loud and inapporpiate for the setting. It is ok if you wanted to go to a rave party! Also, the service was terrible. We found the waiters unfriendly and all over the place. The food came out at all different times, my kids had finished their puddings before I even got mine. And when I did get my pudding it was over cooked and found it difficult to eat. Also, people that came in after us managed to get there food served first.I was thinking of taking my daughter there for her birthday party treat but I will not be going back to Gelatos again. Very disapointed.
