Kaspa’s is another tasty desert caf in Croydon, located opposite Maplin next to West Croydon train station. The building is quite dark inside with black and pink decor. The music, on my visit, was turned up quite loud which made conversation harder. The costs of some of the deserts here are more expensive than the very similar Gelato’s in the nearby Centrale shopping centre. Having said that, the deserts here do come as advertised (hooray!) and are very tasty.Kaspa’s certainly comes across as a nicer, more extravagant desert caf; but, for the price and location I personally prefer Gelato’s, however I would still recommended Kaspa’s as an excellent treat when you fancy a moment to indulge. I give it 4/5, 0.5 better than Gelato’s.
I love stopping by Kaspas to indulge myself in their delicious waffles and milkshakes. Nothing says well done for spending hours in the gym like like a big waffle topped with banana’s and strawberries (tick that off your 5 a day list), drowned in white chocolate sauce, with a glass of strawberry milkshake to wash the warm, velvety deliciousness down.As you’ve guessed I definitely recommend trying theWhite choc indulgence waffle and their Strawberry indulgence waffle comes a close-second in my books. I liked their 60s inspired diner decor and the chilled atmosphere inside. The service leaves much to be desired, but the desserts more than make up for it.
This place is super cute and reminds me of dark and twisted soda bars from American comics. There is a lot of choice on the menu and I’ve only tried about 10% of the menu (mostly the chocolaty items). I liked the chocoholics sundae and I do have a weakness for chocolate. Somebody should think about using this space as a movie set!
Located in front of west croydon station, this cafe has a tempting display of cakes and ice creams. I have been resisting the temptation for quite some months now reminding myself of the calories that I would be consuming. However, yesterday when my friend dragged me to this place I could no longer resist the alluring displays. We bought a slice of Blackforest gateaux and strawberry cream gateaux. These were delicious and within 5 minutes our plates were clean and our eyes once again strayed to the other cake displays. The texture of the cake was even and the cream very fresh. If any of you ever wander neat west croydon, then definitely have a taste of the wonderful desserts at this cafe. @
Located in front of West Croydon train stations, Kaspa’s is a fairly new establishment. Itss basically the same thing as Afters. They have replicated Afters decor and menu, however the deserts are of a lower quality.I did not like the consistency of the ice creams and the crepes were not as nice as I have had in Afters. I went here when it was not busy- there were about two other people. Yet, the staff were not attentive at all. We had to show ourselves to a table and asked for a menu. Our order took around 10 minutes which was fairly long for some waffles and ice cream. If you want to go out for dessert I would recommend Afters or Cremes in Norbury.
This has got to be my definite stop by every time I pass through Croydon. The large sized portions are great value for money and the staff are always willing to change up a few ingredients (such as fruits) when asked to. The desserts are of great quality and taste of course as well as being highly filling. It is a meal in itself which means it won’t be a good idea to go after a main meal as that would fill you up right to the top. There’s a large variety to choose from which I must say makes it hard to make a final decision. Would highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth, and as the dessert parlour is located in the town centre it can be easily accessed.
luv this place! desserts are great, icecream is fresh and the waffles are to die for! The decor is nice and the staff are friendly. Me and my partner visit this place at least twice a month. Highly recommended for anyone looking for desserts!
