i have to disagree with the past reviews it was delicious and i often am picky about chicken shops so this is one of a few that i buy from and i have to say it was excellant .
Possibly one of the worst chicken shops i’ve been to – feels so unclean from inside! and it’s always flooded with school kids most of the time during weekdays. The food is extremely greasy and so unhealthy. I don’t think i’d ever come here again – most people come here after a night out so they’re too drunk to even realise or care about how poor it is.
You can never be too picky after a night out and a burger with chips and drink is always the most likely meal at 3am. But I have to give credit to the staff at Roosters they really put up with a lot of nonsense and through all that offer the best service possibe. The crowds are rowdy and the doors are crammed but rooster always manage to get thier side of things spot on .
After a heavy clubbing session in Croydon, this is our final stop before the cab ride home. A simple burger, chips and drink is only 3.99 and it aids to cure the hangover straight away. I always get a bottle of water as the Coke or Pepsi they serve can be a bit watered down and tastes awful. The staff are very friendly, energetic and I have a lot of good memories from that place. The gentle giant, Sammy the bouncer, is also there to stop any problems from occurring which can be reassuring. I will be returning to Roosters Chicken more often in the future as Croydon is my local clubbing scene.
