Lovely place, very good coffee and good selection of sweets… I particularly like the macarons with my coffee… there are a variety of selection and are delicious! I’m regular costumer from quite some time now.

Decent selection of teas and relatively good coffee. Not the biggest selection of cakes, BUT what they had was good. Had the vanilla cake with shoe pastry casing – as much as I am not a big fan of shoe pastry, the ‘in between’ light and fluffy layer was great. Service prompt and pleasant enough. One drawback is that the door was left open at all times. It was not freezing, but not all that warm either. Excellent selection of little pralines and chocolates, brought some home for family to try, they loved especially the strawberry ones. Good to have an independent cake cafe in Croydon!

Been here three times… quality of service varies. Today was very bad. One of the ladies seems to be upset about something therefore she’s not very approachable. Having worked in retail before, I can look past this if it happens once or twice. We’re only human after all. But the previous times weren’t very good either. So perhaps they haven’t received training?!The patisserie isn’t the best. I spent 8 years in France and I’ve grown fond of even a simple croissant. They’re not well made here. However, the mozzarella and pesto panini was delicious. Coffee isn’t great. I’ve tried the espresso, cappuccino, latte mocha and they were all average. It seems the coffee beans are over grilled. The dcor is nice. Seats are comfortable. Unfortunately I’ve been told the door has to be open, so temperatures can get VERY cold. Their Wifi is good. If there’s ever a problem, McDonalds Wifi is available. Overall, the service isn’t great, the coffee and patisserie isn’t great. So I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Worst Patisserie ever! I even gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried their cakes a second time. Pastries are stale and cakes/gateaux are flavourless. Must use cheap or poor quality ingredients. Not really worth 1 /5. Do not eat here – its a waste of money. Its a shame as it would have been great to have a nice independent cake shop in Croydon.

I’m giving this one star only because I have to give it something!!! I was so excited that a decent patisserie had opened in croydon. My boyfriend took me there as a treat, I was SO disappointed, we had the black and white cake and the coconut gateaux – both were stale and i had a real hard time getting my fork through them. The coconut gateaux was tasteless, dry and overly sickly. The black and white cake had an overpowering taste of rose, but apart from that it was like eating cardboard. The price would’ve been fine if they were decent cakes, but it was very over priced considering the awful quality! We left half the cakes, with the forks in them sticking upright! Shan’t be going back

I love this place!! They serve nice coffe and recently also my favourite salmon bagels – good place to meet up with friends or grab something for lunch!

Was refused to be served coffee 10 mins before closing time! What a disappointement. I think i’ll stick to my nero/costa/starbucks who are willing to serve even a couple of mins after closing!
