What used to be Just Falafel is now rebranded at The Grill @ 12, and very nicely it has been too, it’s clean and well presented with a small cafe feel, modern, bright decor and with smooth music playing. I was attracted in as they now do a range of slightly alternative burgers along with their original Falafel menu. A chicken burger with chips and drink will set you back a very reasonable 4.95. The food was prepared extraordinarily quickly and brought to me at the table, there is a take away option if that’s your thing.The food itself was a little bit of a mixed bag, the chips could have done with an extra bit of cooking, while certinately not undercooked in my opinion it was pretty borderline. Dispointingly the chicken was definitely not of the highest quality. But for the price of a McDonalds meal it was definitely an actual bit of chicken and not processed meat. The Sweet Chilli Sauce, however, was the real surprise, it was absolutely delicious, and the chicken had a lovely chargrilled barbecue taste to it that reminded me of summer. I thoroughly enjoyed it and is a great place for a cheap quick lunch if your in a hurry.
