A perfect place for pre drinks with friends and families before a night out. The decor is classy and the ambiance is peaceful. Staff are also lively and happy to chat. We often go there for drinks and I have tried their fish and chips. The portion is quite big so do go with an empty stomach.
The Skylark is in the perfect location to get a meal & pre-drinks in for a night out in Croydon. Yet, the atmosphere is far from rowdy, I would go as far as to say it is family friendly. Its a bit of a trick to find parking, so if you are local then walk or bus is a good option.. The meal deals tend to come with a free beer etc, which is great! As for the food, a lot of people rave about the Fish & Chips (+beer) but I haven’t tried it due to what looks like a high batter percentage.. I am however, a big fan of the BBQ Hot Dog – Decent.

It’s a great place to meet friends after work and ideal for a get together or birthday celebration that won’t cost the earth! The food is nicely presented and is of a good portion. There is a ample selection of good quality wines beers and ciders at a competitive price. Well worth a visit.
