Took my daughter here yesterday for the 3 course Christmas dinner. Wow! We had a cosy table next to the open fire which was perfect. It has recently been refurbished & the whole place looks stunning, especially with all the Xmas decorations up. Every course was simply mouth watering. Even though it was nearly fully booked the service was faultless – attentive & with a smile. Superb range of drinks, with a separate menu for Gins & Cocktails. All in all an excellent experience – highly recommend!
Venue itself is fairly nice. Food is okay. Staff are friendly enough but service is ridiculously slow, from receiving food to paying the bill and they always forget something. Dined here on 3 occasions, and unfortunately have had the same experience each time. It really lets the place down.
